What's Your Interest?

Are you and your Kuvasz interested in any of the following activities: obedience training, therapy dog visits, agility, carting, good manners, tracking, training tips, clicker training, Canine Good Citizen, flyball, competitive obedience, dog tricks, rollerblading, jogging, hiking, skijoring, retrieving, dog games, attention...

Have you ever been interested in finding out about a dog activity and wondered if anyone else has experience with their Kuvasz in that area? We are putting together a list of people, along with their dog-related activities and interests. This list is for those that have no experience in an area as well as those that do. It will be published in the Quarterly. For those with access to e-mail, we also plan to start an e-mail list. The goal is to make it easier to contact those with similar interests or experience for help, ideas, support, success stories, books on the subject, encouragement or even a shoulder to cry on when things do not work out. (Now why would I ever think that any of us who are working our Kuvasz in competitive areas would ever need encouragement? Because I have been there. And every once in a while, an "it will get better" is good for the spirits).

If we missed you and your Kuvasz's favorite activity - just add it to your reply. Many of us are always looking for new areas to explore. Note that there are several noncompetitive activities listed. So please - do not be shy. Take a few minutes to complete the information below. And if in the future, when you and your Kuvasz develop a new interest, remember to let us know and it will be added to the list.
